Paolo Duterte bares ‘House’ achievements in 2023

DAVAO CITY – First Congressional District Representative Paolo Z. Duterte has consistently posed a solid dedication to improving the welfare of his constituents, as shown in his recent accomplishment report as a member of the House of Representatives.
Rep. Duterte released on January 13, Saturday, his accomplishment report from January to December 2023. It highlights the PPP Mobile Kitchen, which served 7,050 packs of lunch and hot porridge to underserved communities, including fire and flood victims.
He also led the distribution of food packs and cash assistance to 5,421 fisherfolks here who had difficulty fishing during the rainy and closed seasons. His office aimed to improve the food supply of families affected by climate change.

He also cited success in social services, such as medical and burial assistance, emergency response, educational support, Tulong Panghanapbuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), and infrastructure.
Rep. Duterte’s office helped 25,272 patients and 963 senior citizens at Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC), 1,290 cancer patients, and 18,205 patients in private hospitals. He aided 4,540 families in burial, as well.
He also assisted 1,512 fire victims, 1,999 flood victims, 31 landslide victims, and three storm surge victims per family. As to education, he supported 808 college and 137 TESDA scholars, 30 medicine postgraduates, and six law school postgraduates.
Rep. Duterte is also pleased to help 13,852 identified recipients of the TUPAD program with the DOLE and 3,617 recipients of the Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations (AICS) program with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD).
His office has provided 33 roving motorcycles for barangay police to ensure peace and order in the first district. A total of 2,962 beneficiaries, covering all barangay nutrition scholars and health workers of the first district, received one year of indemnity insurance privilege.
Rep. Duterte is proud to announce the ongoing construction of Davao Coastal Road and the 800-meter Ma-a Flyover. His office also accommodated 600 solicitations and gave 48 tents, 288 wheelchairs, 28 nebulizers, 26 walkers, eight crutches, and 74 solar streetlights.
Congressman Pulong, as people fondly call him here, is a second termer member of the HoR elected on May 9 in the 2022 national polls following his track record of effectively running a government office. He served the first term in the same position in May 2019.
The lawmaker’s advocacy for sustainable development has earned him the title of “Honorary Congressman of the Year” (green category) during the Nation Builders and Mosliv Awards in December 2023.
Rep. Duterte was also conferred the Leadership Achiever as Public Servant citation in the Elite Business and Leadership Awards 2023 for his distinctive dedication and genuine commitment to public service.
